The Violence Abuse & Mental Health Network is. URKI funded project that aims to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems among children, working age adults, and the elderly, by bringing together experts with different ways of thinking about violence, abuse and mental health.
I lead the Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) including planning meetings, and work with academic and policy makers to embed the learning from the group into the work of the network. This has included ensuring Lived Experience voices are represented in seed funding awards, and supporting the group to undertake their own research.
